The Manual includes unofficial translation of a number of cases on the issues of public associations heard by the European Court on Human Rights and the UN Committee on Human Rights.
To the opinion of compilators, the materials introduced in the Manual shall contribute into forming of legal understanding and application of the rules of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights and International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
The Manual also includes the texts of private claims submitted into the UN Committee on Human Rights by individuals in order to protect their right to association, as well as a practical guidance on writing claims.
