Results of the Law essay competition 2007 have been summed up
Foundation for Legal Technologies Development is announcing closing of the Law essay competition 2007.
We would like to thank all young people who have submitted their works for the competition!
Summing up the results of the Law essay competition 2007, the Expert committee has noticed that amount of works received has lowered in comparison with the year 2006 and also that there were no essays submitted by postgraduate students and teachers of law. At the same time, the Expert committee has mentioned that works have been received from alumni of the Essay competition 2006 and law students that have participated in programs of the Foundation for Legal Technologies Development.
Expert committee verifies that works submitted for the competition coincide with the criteria established for the Law essay competition. Many participants have chosen to work on independent topics. Experts have also mentioned acuteness of the themes, creative approach towards the competition, good knowledge of material and good general knowledge showed by students within different aspects of law.

Is institution of preventive court constitutional control necessary in the Republic of Belarus?
Talking about comprehension between Constitutional norms of the Republic of Belarus and international treaties on human rights and freedoms.
Expert committee has also recommended for publication on the webpage:
Implementation and protection of Children’s rights in the Republic of Belarus.
Essay Human rights – a fiction? (continuation) has also been recommended for publication on the webpage as an essay with an original and non-standard approach to work.
Congratulations to the authors of the works! We wish them success in studies and creative self-realization in the profession they choose.
Winners of the competition will be awarded Diplomas. Besides, winners of the Law essay competition have been recommended by the Foundation for Legal Technologies development to participate in the language courses organizes by the Council of Europe (Strasburg, August 2007) and lecture course on human rights of Highest school of Malmo (Sweden, September 2007). All participants of the competition will be awarded Certificates.
Foundation for Legal Technologies Development hopes that law students that have submitted their works for the Law essay competition will further participate in educational programs of the Foundation.
